The Blogger Recognition Award

I was nominated for this award on 26th August and in true SpeakingPAw fashion, I procrastinated for very very long time. However, I hate not responding to awards like this because they mean a lot to me and I love that people actually care enough about my writing and has taken time to nominate me for it. ❀

Also, it makes me feel very important πŸ˜›

Also, right nowΒ Β it’s between doing this or writing an assignment on Labour Laws. Clearly, education isn’t very important to me πŸ˜€

Thank you ShinyButtonsBlogΒ for nominating me! She has amazing fashion and beauty blog posts but go read her baking stuff also. Seriously pretty cooking happening there.

First, I am supposed to talk about how I started blogging. To be honest, it was a decision I took in a split second. I was procrastinating doing some work late one night and suddenly decided that I had things to say and googled “free blogging”. WordPress was the first link that came on there. It’s not my first time blogging btw. I’ve tried this on Blogspot once before. I’ll see if I can find the link to that blog but I feel like it deserves a whole other post. Β In the meantime, read my first WordPress post.

Secondly, I am supposed to give 2 pieces of advice to new bloggers. The most important thing is to be consistent with your content. No one likes a blogger who doesn’t post on time properly and goes off the map for months at a stretch (AKA Me. I am sorry. I am also a hypocrite.)Β Β Another advice is to keep your blogger friends close. My blogger friends are the people in the WordPress sphere whose writing Β inspire me to write and I absolutely love reading their blogs.Β So if you are new on WordPress, find people whose writing you like and become friends with them. That helps a lot and makes blogging uber fun.

Now, I would like to nominate these guys for the award –

WBG

Little April Shower

Strictly Lighthearted

Vocal Pendulum

Hope you guys don’t take like a million years to do this like I did πŸ™‚

love,

me:)

      1. Hypocrisy is the gold standard of life in these times! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I guess I can say one thing. After finishing a post, one shouldn’t post it immediately. Maybe sleep over it and review it the next morning. The author would see the difference her/him-self (to be honest, this isn’t something I came up with myself. But it helps. πŸ˜›πŸ˜› Oh, and I don’t always follow it myself). Ha ha ha.

      2. Dude!! That is actually really true. Whatever I post right after writing it (sometimes even without going through it once) end up being crappy.
I always thought it was just me though. Thanks for the gyan thoughπŸ™

      3. Aye! 50000 words in November is what they urge you to write. And I think it’d be a nice gesture on your part if you put up a post about this on your blog. Someone else might just get the push needed.

      4. Yeah. Surely going to sign up for it.
I maybe wont write a post about it, but I’ll mention it in one of my upcoming posts. And put it up on my Twitter and stuff.
Offline, I sort of told mostly everyone about it πŸ˜€

      5. Yay! So happy to know you’d sign up for it. You did the right thing, telling people about it. Hopefully a few of your acquaintances will join too. And sharing on your social media feeds would be a step in the right direction too. The more, the merrier, eh?
